The major has 16 teachers, including 1 scientist of Yunnan Province Industrial Technology System, 1 teaching master of Yunnan Province, 1 top young talent of Pu'er City, 12 teachers with senior titles, and 13 teachers with master's degree or above. In the past five years, there have been 5 research platforms at the provincial and ministerial level, 1 Huang Danian teaching team at the university level, 1 tropical crop cultivation and breeding teaching team at the university level, nearly 10 research projects at the university level and above, nearly 30 papers published, nearly 20 patents applied for, 4 "13th Five-Year Plan Textbooks" published by the National Forestry and Grass Bureau, and 1 "Yunnan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award."
